Winning bid to deliver event for Digital Freelancers in Liverpool

Jelly Liverpool logoHow Why DIY are pleased to announce that we have won the contract to deliver Jelly Liverpool the easy going networking event for Digital Freelance workers in Liverpool until the end of the year.

In April Open Labs at LJMU had to advertise for agents to deliver Jelly Liverpool once more after the previous delivery contract had run out.

The idea of Jelly Liverpool is to provide chairs and tables, wireless internet and coffee but more importantly interesting people to talk to, collaborate with, and bounce ideas off of.

JellyLiverpool enables delegates to escape their normal working environment, be that the spare room, rented desk space or usual café and join in what has become the co-working event that enables people to make new contacts in an informal way whilst still allowing them to work on their deadlines and maintain productivity.

Digital Freelancers

If you haven’t yet experienced Jelly Liverpool, perhaps it’s time to check it out.  Fed up with the isolation and clutter of the spare room? Fed up with being distracted by the TV or the washing up, or even the kids?… then JellyLiverpool is for you.

No matter what you do or what you create, you’re welcome to come to JellyLiverpool.  Mingle with like-minded creative people.  It’s a great way to put faces to those you follow on Twitter and more importantly it’s Free …… Free wifi, Free deskspace, Free coffee.

We see a lot of developers, and internet types.  Some would class themselves as entrepreneurs or freelancers. Others work in an office most of the time, but work at Jelly for fresh ideas and a change of pace.  We’d love to encourage a lot more to attend and to spread the word wider in Liverpool to attract more from the creative & digital industry sector, but basically anyone who works remotely or independently is made very welcome No matter what you do or what you create, you’re welcome to come to Jelly and share your talent and learn from others.

If you’re interested in coming along then check out the website or if you are interested in supporting or getting involved in some way then email us.
