OggCamp is an exciting and ever growing free culture unconference organised by our very own Dan Lynch (hats off dan to get it here) and many others and this year, its at the Art and Design Academy in Liverpool! Mingle with Raspberry Pi, Canonical, Mozilla, The Ubuntu Podcast, Linux Outlaws and Google and browse all sorts of Linux and open source goodies.

A big part of Oggcamp is going to be the Open Hardware Jam where some of the most interesting open projects out there will be presented with an unmissable opportunity to take part and find out more.

Featuring presentations and workshops from RaspberryPi, the RepRap community, Nanode, 8bit computing withFignitionDoES Liverpool, 3D Printing, Open Textiles, Crazy Golf Hacking and a wikihouse build run by local LJMU Architecture graduates and architecture practice Point Five

Oggcamp highlights include a remote contribution by Stephen Fry, yes that Stephen Fry! Also Alan Donohue of Hack To The Future, Ross Gardler of OSS Watch and the Apache Software Foundation and Lindsey Annison leading on a crowdfunded project to bring fibre optic Broadband to the Rural North.

Artists Ross Dalziel and Amanda Steggell will also be talking about currently.no an international coastal research programme between Liverpool and Oslo with artists and collectives Hillevi Munthe, Elisabeth Weihe, Owl Project, Protei, Juha van ‘t Zelfde of shippr.org, Jana Winderen, PointFive and Open Source Swan Pedalo.
